The Insights application is designed to securely and privately collect information about the user and store it locally and, optionally, make it available in a cloud portal for analysis. The data is 100% owned by the user and can be exported at any time for personal use.
The types of data that can be collected include:
- Location information from phone sensors (transformed to places and routes)
- Health information aggregated by the phone (HealthKit or Android Health)
- Diary entries
- Calendar information
- Questions about diet, mood, emotional state, exercises
- Questions and topics added by the user on any topic that they want to track
